2. Wheelchair Rugby National Championships
When: 3–5 May
Where: Netball SA Stadium, Mile End South
Make sure you’re courtside to witness all the action at the largest wheelchair rugby event in the southern hemisphere, hosted in Adelaide for the first time.
See the best athletes battle it out in what has been described as a fast-paced full-contact version of gridiron and basketball combined. The Wheelchair Rugby National Championships are a precursor to the Paralympic Games in Paris later this year and help decide who will take the court for the Australian team, the Steelers, at this year’s games. With the sport originally called Murderball, you can imagine the intensity! Australia recently won the Wheelchair Rugby World Cup and Wheelchair Rugby World Championship, so don’t miss this opportunity to cheer on these exhilarating athletes.

Ninety years later, Old Crock’s Run still offers the opportunity to see functioning pre-1935 cars and motorcycles, alongside more classic and modern vehicles.
