RAA is looking to the future

With a growing business and the Torrens to Darlington Project (T2D) impacting the RAA office at Mile End, an agreement has been made with the State Government to purchase the Richmond Road site.

What does it mean for members?

Nothing for now. RAA will be operating from Mile End up until around 2025, when the State Government has indicated construction activities are expected to begin. This leaves plenty of time to secure a new home that’s conveniently located for members and staff.

Can I still come to the Mile End office?

Yes, members can continue to visit the Mile End office, with RAA offering member services as usual.

Why is RAA moving?

The T2D Project’s proposed widening of Richmond Road would have disrupted the Mile End office’s frontage, utilities, telecommunications and access for members and staff.

RAA has also outgrown the Mile End office. With more than 800,000 members and a workforce of more than 1200, the move presents an opportunity to expand the organisation’s office footprint.

Where is the office moving?

The process is underway to find a long-term solution for RAA’s operations, which offers enhanced services and facilities. Members will be notified when this happens, hopefully later this year.
