Win a home, change a life

The moment I arrive it feels familiar, almost like home. I grew up near the seaside suburb of Somerton Park where the newest Hospital Research Foundation Home Lottery winner will call home.
Before stepping out of the car, two people walk past the home; one pauses to admire the striking façade. The other passes, then turns their head to sneak a second look. The chic, floor-to-ceiling sheer curtains are visible from the large, black-framed front window. Drawn for now, few have glimpsed inside the $4.2 million Grand Prize.
When the towering, flush-panel timber front door opens, I’m immediately drawn in by the brightness and warmth, largely thanks to the open-plan living room’s soaring stone gas fireplace that I feel before I see.
Before making my way down the long corridor, a grand double sliding door to my left opens to a boutique hotel-inspired master bedroom. The room has an eye-catching textured feature wall, a spacious walk-in robe and ensuite with LED mirrors. While the space is luxurious, it’s still very liveable and softened by a neutral palette and clean finishes, all designed and built by Scott Salisbury Homes.

It’s hard to believe this dream house will soon become a family’s forever home. Rosana from Rostrevor knows exactly how this feels; she’s the previous Grand Prize winner of The Hospital Research Foundation Home Lottery in West Beach.
“I couldn’t believe it,” Rosana says. “The house is so beautiful; it’s perfect. This doesn’t feel real.”
When you purchase a Home Lottery ticket just like Rosana, you’re helping to fund medical research, healthcare services and hospital programs.
“You realise that even if you don’t win, you know the money goes to help research,” she says.

Majestic and minimalistic but still homely, the Somerton Park property blends luxe with lowkey from room to room, across the four bedrooms, three bathrooms, two spacious living areas and kitchen – the heart of the home which features custom cabinetry complete with butler’s pantry.
Large, black-framed sliding doors open onto a courtyard garden. Home feels like a holiday here as the property’s resort-style aesthetic spans inside and out to the dark-tiled plunge pool. Frameless glass fencing maintains unobstructed views across the lawn and pool, perfect for watching the little ones splash about as you entertain from the alfresco area.

The lucky owners of this Somerton Park gem will soon, just like Rosana, turn the key and walk through the doors of their fully furnished, mortgage-free home, along with $100,000 to sweeten the deal.
