The most divisive Christmas question

Festive spirit runs high in South Australia.

We have the largest Christmas pageant in the southern hemisphere. This year, more than 300,000 people jostled for the best spot to welcome Father Christmas to town, and be entertained by hundreds of joyful elves and clowns.

The Lobethal Lights is a South Aussie institution. It too has a largest-in-the-southern-hemisphere crown – this time for largest community Christmas light display.

There’s a twinkling tree standing tall in Victoria Square/Tardanyangga, the State Library’s Mortlock Chamber has had it’s halls decked and towns across the state are busily prepping for their own local pageants.

With all this jolly cheer already in the air, we took to the aisles at the Adelaide Central Market and asked the most important question of all:

When is it the right time to put up your Christmas tree?
