It doesn’t matter when you visit the Riverland, there’s always something to see or do.
In summer, the river is the place to be, whether you want to cruise along on a houseboat, take an afternoon dip or take part in variety of adrenaline-pumping water sports. Kayak along the creeks and lagoons in search of the birdlife that calls the Murray home.
During the winter months, the weather is cool but dry, making it the perfect time for hiking. Walk along cliffside trails with stunning views of the Murray River. If the great outdoors isn’t for you, visit a riverside brewery or enjoy a gin tasting.
